How to Order
and important information about your order
Orders may be placed by messaging on Facebook, or sending an email to info@justsugarbakery.com only. Please allow up to 3 business days for a reply, as I am a one-person business. Rush orders are not available, but some simple last minute orders may be accommodated depending on availability.
Cake pick-ups are only scheduled Thursday-Sunday. Occasionally I will accept some orders Monday-Wednesday as a special request. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are reserved as admin days to allow me to send invoices, order materials, respond to messages and inquiries, and prepare for upcoming orders.
How to Order
When contacting me to place an order, please provide the following details to allow me to create an accurate quote.
1. Date & Time: What date and time do you need the order ready? Order pick-ups can be scheduled between 12pm-7pm Thursday and Friday, and 10am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Pick-up is in Palm Bay, FL. If you need your order earlier than 10am, please schedule your order for the day before. Orders will not be ready for pickup before 10am.
2. Servings Needed: How many people do you need your cake to feed? Do you prefer large slices or the standard 1"x2" slices? (Please DO NOT only state the cake size you want. Cake size is determined by servings needed and design style, so saying "I want an 8" cake" does not provide enough information to ensure your needs will be met.)
3. Theme: Please provide all design or theme details as well as any inspiration pictures, pictures of your invitations, and pictures of any decor you've already purchased so I can create a design to match. Let me know what is important to you. Do you want a name or age on the cake?
4. Any other items: Would you like any other treats with your cake? If so, which treats, and how many of each? Flavor(s)?
Once I have this information, I can provide you with an accurate quote. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days. Pricing is adjusted regularly as the cost of ingredients fluctuates.
Payment
Orders are only secured with a paid invoice. Inquiries do not guarantee an order. Dates are on a first come, first serve basis and can be filled at any time, up to 18 months in advance.
To secure your order I will need your name (first and last), email address, billing address, and phone number. I will then send a detailed, itemized invoice based on all of the information we discussed.
Once the invoice is sent, it is only active for 24 hours and it must be paid within 24 hours before it is automatically cancelled and the date is opened back up. If you need any changes made to the invoice, please communicate that as soon as you receive the invoice and it will be edited immediately. Please Note: The accounting system documents each time the invoice is opened and how long it is viewed for.
For orders being placed more than 60 days in advance
Only a basic deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior. If a deposit has been paid, but the final balance has not been paid within 24 hours of receiving the final invoice, the deposit is forfeited and the date is no longer reserved.

For orders being placed less than 60 days in advance
If your order total is $150 or less, a minimum of $50 is due upon booking to secure your order, and the remaining balance must be paid in full no less than 30 days prior. If your order total is $151+, you must pay at least 50% at the time of booking, and the remaining balance must be paid no less than 30 days prior.

Delivery
All orders are pick-up by default. If delivery is required, it must be scheduled in advance to allow for delivery time the day of your order. The cost of delivery is based on roundtrip mileage and does not include setup. If you would like setup to be added, please let me know. Set-up is priced by the hour with a one-hour minimum charge.
Refunds
Refunds are not provided for any reason. All orders are custom products that require many hours of planning and preparation. All sales are final.
Once an order has been picked up by you or your representative, it is considered to be "accepted." Once an order is out of the care of Just Sugar Bakery, it is the client's responsibility to care for that order. Refunds will not be provided due to client mishandling of products, accidents, or acts of nature.
Final design decisions are at the discretion of Just Sugar Bakery. All products will be made with the intention of being the best possible products as defined by Just Sugar Bakery. Images of past work is a wonderful example of the quality that will be provided. Please keep in mind that art and taste are subjective and are not valid reasons for a refund. Substantial time, materials, and ingredients go into creating custom products, so please kindly and respectfully communicate any questions or concerns about your order to allow Just Sugar Bakery the opportunity to make corrections.
Important Information
DO NOT leave products outside, unattended at any time. Direct sunlight and high temperatures are not safe for food of any kind, especially cakes.
DO NOT place cakes or treats near ovens/stoves, fireplaces, or any other heated environment.
Any leftover cake or treats should be properly stored in accordance with the storage instructions provided on your invoice.
